Bathroom Renovation & Bathroom Remodel in Cape Town | Expert Bathroom Contractors

If you are planning a bathroom renovation or bathroom remodel in Cape Town, you need a team that understands local homes, climate, plumbing realities, and the finishes that last. Bathrooms Cape Town (part of Vermeulen Consortium Pty) specialises in complete bathroom projects across Cape Town and the Boland. With more than 10 years of project management experience, we deliver timely, high-quality bathroom renovations and new bathroom installations for homeowners who want practical results without unnecessary stress.

A bathroom is one of the hardest rooms to get right. Water, pipes, waterproofing, ventilation, and daily use all meet in a small space. Poor work shows quickly. Our approach keeps the process straightforward and scalable to your needs, whether you want a full bathroom remodel, a targeted bathroom renovation, or a brand-new bathroom installation.

What a Professional Bathroom Renovation or Remodel Covers

We manage the core stages of every bathroom project:

• Demolition – Safe removal of old fittings, tiles, and fixtures so the space is ready for proper preparation.
• Plumbing – Installation of new plumbing runs and bathroom items (baths, toilets, basins, taps, showers).
• Waterproofing – Essential for new showers and wet areas to protect the structure long-term.
• Structural and surface preparation – Building shower floors, preparing surfaces for tiling, and any required structural work.
• Ceilings and finishing – Cornice replacement when tiling to the ceiling, plus painting with a waterproof undercoat where needed.

We can also coordinate reliable, affordable specialists for glass, electrical, and tiling, or manage the full project for you at a small additional fee. This gives you one clear point of contact instead of chasing multiple trades.

Many clients choose their own sanitaryware, tiles, and taps (sometimes through local department stores) and we handle the professional installation. Others prefer recommendations on layout, design style, and durable products that suit Cape Town homes. Quotations and advice are free.

Bathroom Remodel Ideas That Work in Cape Town Homes

Cape Town bathrooms face specific conditions: coastal moisture, varying property ages, and the need for good ventilation. A successful bathroom remodel improves both daily use and long-term value.

Popular upgrades we regularly deliver include walk-in showers with proper waterproofing, updated vanities and storage, better lighting and ventilation, and durable finishes that are easier to maintain. Whether you are refreshing an en-suite, converting a dated family bathroom, or installing a complete new bathroom, the focus stays on function first, then style that fits the rest of the home.

Our work covers both bathroom renovations (updating existing spaces) and new bathroom installations. The same careful process applies: clear scope, quality preparation, and finishes that hold up.
