Bathroom Renovation & Bathroom Remodel in Sea Point | Reliable Bathroom Specialists

Planning a bathroom renovation or bathroom remodel in Sea Point is practical with Bathrooms Cape Town (part of Vermeulen Consortium Pty). We bring more than 10 years of project management experience to complete bathroom renovations, bathroom remodels, and new bathroom installations across the Atlantic Seaboard. The focus remains on solid waterproofing, correct plumbing, and durable finishes that cope with coastal conditions and regular use.

Sea Point properties include apartments in high-rise buildings and freestanding homes, many close to the sea. Coastal moisture, salt air, and often limited access make careful waterproofing, ventilation, and material choices especially important. Our process stays clear and adaptable so the work matches the actual constraints and goals of your space—whether a full bathroom remodel or a more focused bathroom renovation.

Core Elements of a Sea Point Bathroom Renovation or Remodel

Every bathroom project includes the stages that protect long-term performance:

• Demolition and careful removal of old fittings, tiles, and fixtures (with attention to building access and  disposal)
• Plumbing installation for baths, toilets, basins, taps, and showers
• Waterproofing of showers and wet zones to handle coastal humidity
• Structural and surface preparation, including new shower floors where required
• Ceiling work such as cornice replacement when tiling to the ceiling, plus painting with a waterproof undercoat

Glass, electrical, and tiling can be coordinated through reliable, cost-effective installers, or we can manage the complete project for a small additional fee. This provides a single point of contact, useful in apartment buildings. Many clients select their own sanitaryware, tiles, and fittings (including through department stores) and need only professional installation; others prefer guidance on layout and low-maintenance products. Site visits, advice, and quotations are free.

Bathroom Remodel Approaches Suited to Sea Point Homes

A successful bathroom remodel in Sea Point improves daily comfort while addressing the coastal environment. Typical upgrades we complete include properly waterproofed walk-in showers, updated vanities and storage suited to the available space, enhanced ventilation to reduce humidity, and finishes that resist moisture and are easier to maintain.

The same disciplined process applies to apartment bathrooms, house en-suites, or brand-new bathroom installations. Thorough preparation helps the finished space stay dry and functional despite the coastal setting.
